Meet Mary Ruth Horn

Mary Ruth Horn, 2019 Gala Chair started working on our annual Patron’s Gala the very first year she arrived to Lenoir, and that was in 1999 when her husband (David Horn) began work at our hospital. Her neighbor was the chair, and she jumped right in. Every year since, she has given of her time and talents to help make the gala a great success, and if you were with us, you know that 2019 was “One Enchanted Evening!” A fabulous night of fellowship, fine dining, refreshments, prizes and dancing the enchanted night away with FlashBack, the party band. Mary Ruth did a wonderful work of involving a blend of volunteers that gave us one of the most beautifully decorated galas we have experienced.

The Gala netted over $86,000 to help in the funding of The Jonas Hill Hospital and Clinic, our behavioral health pavilion under construction now. We are so very grateful to Mary Ruth, to Heather Keverline (wife to Dr. Jeff Keverline), 2019 Gala Co Chair and all our wonderful volunteers and sponsors!
